04/19/2003 Entry: "SF Film Festival"

Longtime A.D. friends Victor and Brendan Bellomo, each have short films in the SF Int'l Film Festival. Victor co-wrote/directed The Spirit of Gravity with David Pace. Brendan directed got nice?. This is the first time in the festival's 46 year history that a father and son are nominated for Golden Gate Awards in separate categories. All screenings are at the AMC Kabuki 8.

The Spirit of Gravity
written and directed by Victor Bellomo and David Pace.
Inspired by Friedrich Nietzche's "Thus Spoke Zarathustra", "The Spirit of Gravity" is an animated mini-musical, in which Nietzche sings his philosophy to a small town, arousing the villagers to join him in defying the forces of nature.
