The "New Mission School" Panel Discussion and "Concrete Canvas" film excerpts-

Critics have deemed the "Mission School" San Francisco's hottest visual arts export. Street artists' unique style and neighborhood sensibility have led to their success in a world of elite galleries and museums. Meet a new generation of artists whose urban works are transforming abandoned buildings and decrepit alleys into informal outdoor museums. Panelists include artists, curators for alternative and traditional galleries and prominent SF art professionals. Works by the artists (Sirron Norris, NoMe, Tauba, Dave Warnke, Apex, Neon, Andrew Schoultz, Misk, Mars and Damon Soule) will be on display. We will also screen excerpts from "Concrete Canvas," a documentary film about the new "Mission School."
