Kiosk Poster Program
2004 Kiosk Poster Series

APPLICATION DEADLINE
Applications must be delivered to the Arts Commission offices by 5:00 PM or postmarked on  MONDAY, JULY 21, 2003

PROJECT OVERVIEW

The Art on Market Street 2004 Kiosk Poster Series exhibitions will begin in mid-February, 2004, and run through mid-February, 2005, to include four consecutive series on view for three months each. 24 posters (four sets of six designs by one artist or artist team) will be displayed in the triangular kiosks located along Market Street between the Embarcadero and Van Ness Avenue. The Arts Commission seeks proposals from professional artists with experience in painting, drawing, or photography who are interested in creating six original two-dimensional art! works to be reproduced into posters for display in the kiosks, one poster per kiosk mounted on the pedestrian side. The kiosks are lighted from within at night. Finished visible poster image size is 67” high and 46” wide.
