 Being long time fans of the Fingerbangerz (they first played here back in 2000), we're happy to see them as the Metro's cover story (by Todd Inoue) this week. Well deserved, long over due. Congrats guys!

Today the fickle fame machine
is kept sputtering and whirring
with the fuel of personal self
promotion, those who are holding
title champion in any given
genre, politics, literature,
art, etc. are afflicted with
what most U.S.A. citizens are
diseased with "self centered"
selfishness. The culture or lack of it thrives on the love of seeing
ones name in print, no matter for
what it as long as group conscience is able to percieve the you in you! Though some producers of productive labor appear to be immune from the disease, Think of Castenada who penned the Don Jaun epics, never once has he been
photographed, he has never once
allowed his voice to be recorded!
Although he was given his own
mountain by Don Jaun! Now today
a person writes one book and should
it be a best seller, you will see
the author on every talk show
known to public celluloid journalism!
You can produce and altruistic
without being narcissistic!
