07/27/2004 Entry: "Public Art Workshop"
2% of the budget of every new development goes into art on it's premises... that's a pretty healthy commitment to public art. If you've ever been interested in making public art, we invite you to attend this workshop for free. This workshop will "help regional and local artists and design professionals understand the physical and social context in which public art exist," and will "educate local artists regarding the mechanics of developing a public art project ." FREE PUBLIC ART WORKSHOP hosted by the San Jose Public Art Program August 21, 2004, 9am - 5pm SJ Museum of Art Charlotte Wendel Room 110 So.
