sjwifi (45k image)

Good turnout today for the launch of San Jose's free wifi network in downtown. You'll need a username and password(zipcode) to access one of two available channels. Sign-up at www.sanjose.org/wifi. We're told you will be able to access SJ-Free-WiFi from the Circle of Palms (between SJ Museum of Art and the Fairmont Hotel), Cesar Chavez park and San Pedro Square. Currently the best signal was along the benches in the park, but we're told it's just going to get better from here.

"Principally speaking, I call myself a recovering modernist because I am attracted to spare open minimal design and, at the same time, I love rich textured chaotic complexity. I am seduced by design that captures the hidden order inherent in everything. When design reveals that order, it can aspire to be Art." ~ Michael Cronan
