YB celebrates 10 years with this exhibit of 10 collaborative works, each created by an artist who has previously exhibited at the Center, paired with one who has never before been presented at YB.
Highlights (in our humble opinion):
Barry McGee and Josh Lazcano contribute an outdoor painting and video installation in a tipped over van at the entrance to the Center and Manuel Ocampo and Chris Oliveria collaborate on a painting on canvas and painted installation.
Watch for past A.D. exhibiting artist Bill Daniel and his "Souls Harbor" installation at YB Dec 19 thru Jan 4.

The, 'From Where Tour' is an art exhibit that is traveling the west coast from San Diego to Seattle displaying the work of six Central Valley artists. To add to the overall celebration of the visual, the tour will be accompanied by three DJ's performing with a VJ (video jockey). The style of the six artists differs from one another but manages to stay very united in thought and emotion. Their mediums are paint, mixed media and photography and are mainly created on found materials such as doors and headboards.
The 5 week tour is set to take place in June, 2004 and will also feature short films as well as being accompanied with clothing designs for sale by each artist. If your gallery/space is interested in being a stop on the tour or you wish to view some work by the artists please forward your contact info to fwt@galleryAD.com. Peace.
