Corro Gómez is a Madrid born artist now residing in Mexico City. His art works are experiments of grotesque iconographic metamorphosis. It combines the aesthetic of the religious art of different cultures with entomology through absurdity. Maria Magdalena and Jesus Christ, Shiva and Kali or Buddha and Tara metamorphing in flies. The four elements combine the basic or solid polyhedral forms of Plato with animal and insects.
