Dale ‘vn’ Marshall aka Vermin, developed from the streets and is now making a transition into the world of fine art. Vermin (VN) stylised, purist, non-conformist graffiti writer and artist. Human mental health issues set the tone for a large part of ’VN’s work, it is a reflection of past, present and future. Numeracy or pure lunacy? A self proclaimed maverick originator, self learner & seething dyslexic.
Marshall is currently being lauded in all quarters after his Sold Out First Solo show titled Room 101 which showcased 101 oil paintings that he had produced in 101 days. All 101 paintings sold within the hour and numerous people have labeled it the best show of 2010! Including site specific installations of sensory overload proportions had a profound effect on a lot of the visitors. All installations highlighting Dale's decade battling the rigors of mental health which continue to the present day.
Dale is delighted to submit new work for the Fresh Produce show especially being the only UK participant. The seven new works are again based around his self-study of his piercing graffiti letterform and within the new canvases you can almost feel the influence of Whistler & Turner intertwined with the artists unique aesthetic.
