About the Artists:
Yasushi Matsui
Yasushi Matsui is a painter based in Oakland, California, He has been honing his skill in drawing and painting for many years through live painting at a number of events and festivals, multiple murals, illustrations for commissions, and collaborating with various artists and fashion brands. Recently his artistic effort focuses on a Media Art project, called “EToOto -Painting with Sound-“ to explore a new form of a unity through painting with sound.
Kelly Tunstall
Kelly Tunstall is a San Francisco-based artist known for her paintings of elongated, large-eyed female figures- using a variety of media to create experimental yet classically grounded, layered works that merge graphic expression, stylized representation, surrealism, and sketch. Tunstall works with collage, pencil, acrylic, spray paint, pen and ink, gold leaf and some secret ingredients in her paintings and installations, sometimes in collaboration (as KeFe) with husband Ferris Plock.
